Racial and Educational Equity
Our KMS PTSA Statement
The murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery are yet further examples of the systemic racism that continues to permeate this country. The Kenmore Middle School PTSA stands in solidarity with our black students, families and community members as we move to disrupt the injustices that continue to cause harm and dehumanize our black communities. We hear you, we see you, we value you, we love you. To non-black, anti-racist allies, reach out and support black folx in the way THEY need to be supported. We have also provided resources below to support families in having conversations regarding race and racism, and to continue the learning. Let’s do better for our students, our families, and our country. People are crying out for real change to happen. #BlackLivesMatter
