Help us recognize some of the outstanding volunteers and educators we have at KMS by nominating them for our annual awards! All nominations are reviewed by our Golden Acorn Committee and winners will be announed at the May KMS PTSA meeting and the end of year staff luncheon.
Nominations can be made in three categories:
The Golden Acorn Award recognizes volunteers who have given exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our school community. Volunteers do not need to be members of the KMS PTSA in order to be nominated. Any volunteer that has directly helped KMS students or families is eligible.
The Outstanding Educator Award recognizes individuals who have gone beyond the normal expectations of their job to make outstanding contributions to enhance the education of children. This award is given to individuals whose contributions and efforts enhance the educational outcomes of all children. An educator can be anyone who impacts the education of our students… teacher, assistant, specialist, support staff, custodial staff, food services staff, administrator or community member.
The Outstanding Advocate Award recognizes an individual for their advocacy and commitment in helping to create strong policies relating to the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth. An outstanding advocate can be a staff member or volunteer.
Submit nominations here by May 5th.
