Each year, our Kenmore Middle School PTSA is proud to recognize outstanding members of our community who go above and beyond in service to our children and youth. We are now accepting nominations for two special honors:
π° Golden Acorn Award and π Outstanding Advocate Award
The Golden Acorn Award is presented to individuals who have given exceptional volunteer service to the children and youth in our school and community. This award recognizes continued, dedicated service and is a wonderful way to honor those who consistently go βabove and beyond.β Recipients receive a Golden Acorn pin and a certificate from the Washington State PTA.Β
Established in 2004, the Outstanding Advocate Award recognizes an individual for their advocacy and commitment to creating strong policies and positive change in support of the health, welfare, safety, and education of children and youth. Recipients receive a pin and certificate, and a contribution is made in their name to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Program, which benefits students. Β

π How to Nominate: Please complete the nomination form above and have your child use a form in the school library and use as much detail as possible to tell us why your nominee deserves recognition. The KMS PTSA Awards Committee will review all submissions and make the final selections.
