Goals of SEC
Provide funds to a classroom, entire grade, enrichment program, or the entire school. Funds will enrich current and/or future students of Kenmore Middle School.

PTSA Members: 1 Executive Committee member, 1 Board member (serving as chair), 2 PTSA members. KMS Staff: Principal/Asst., 1 Certificated Staff member, and 1 Classified Staff Member.
Excluding the Principal, SEC members may only serve for 2 consecutive years

Guiding Practices
Student Grants are intended to cover items and events that the school would not otherwise offer, but that enrich the KMS student experience in some way. Grant requests are approved based on the number of students that the funds would benefit. Grants are not intended to cover curriculum. Grant food requests need to be addressed with all dietary needs options provided to the SEC committee. Please consult the nurse if you need dietary options.
Grant requests are to be submitted before purchases are made. SEC will not reimburse requestors for expenses after the fact. Approved or disbursed funds must not be carried over into the next year. Maximum grant request is $500.00.

Complete SEC grant application, applications are located on the KMS PTSA website.
Ensure all requested information is completed and the request is for $500.00 or less.
Email completed form to grants@kenmoreptsa.org
Grants will be collected and reviewed by the SEC once a month.
Grant cycles end the 15th of every month. The Grant cycle runs from September 15th thru May 15th.
All grants turned in before the cycle ends will be reviewed together by the SEC, and applicants will be notified of approval or denial. The review process will take place within 2 weeks after the cycle deadline.
